Dear Soccer Parents, Coaches and Volunteers,

We are writing to inform you that the Central Michigan AYSO Region 862 will no longer be offered after June 7, 2025. Our region had multiple board positions that needed to be filled in order to continue to offer AYSO in our region.   Unfortunately, we were unable to secure volunteers to fill the positions.  Due to this, Central Michigan AYSO Region 862 will no longer offer soccer opportunities in the area.  We understand that this news may be disappointing, and we appreciate your understanding.

We suggest exploring other soccer clubs, leagues, or recreational programs in the area. 

We are deeply grateful for the players, families, coaches and volunteers who have been part of the Central Michigan AYSO throughout the years. We celebrate the many accomplishments and successes of the program.

Hello Parent,

AYSO 862 has been a part of the community for 27 years and will continue to bring youth soccer to the communities that we a part of. The American Youth Soccer Organization is a volunteer, non-profit program dedicated to Providing children with a positive sports experience in a fun, safe and fair environment. Volunteer coaches and referees are offered training clinics to assist in developing your child’s knowledge of soccer and sportsmanship.  Fall and Spring Soccer for Boys and Girls Ages 4-13, Registration Opens June 1st thru July 17th.  Cost is $60.00 for both Fall and Spring Seasons (*Jersey purchased seperately, to be used over multiple seasons*) If you have not purchased one in Spring 2021.

If you would like to get involved by volunteering, no experience necessary with free training for referees, coaching & organization members.

*New Uniform Policy*  Starting Fall 2020 - Current

Parents will then need to purchase a Uniform package from AYSO862 store on Soccer.com as needed per child.  Please see link below to purchase complete AYSO soccer kit:  Core Kit Includes: 1 Blue Jersey (Away jersey), 1 Red Jersey (Home jersey), Shorts & Socks. (The cost for a complete uniform package is $36.99 +tax)  We decided to switch to this new uniform package so after season 2020-2021 the uniforms can be used again for following seasons to save on overall costs.  Since these uniforms can be used over multiple seasons it might be best to order them a little bigger size than needed.

*An email reminder and link will be sent out to remember to please order uniforms no later than 3 weeks before the season starts to ensure you have a uniform before games start*  You may also check out our regional store where each purchase helps contribute to our region.
