Welcome
Welcome to the home of the AYSO862 region, which includes Bath, St. Johns, Laingsburg and Ovid-Elsie.   Region 862 encompasses a portion of Central Michigan and receives players from communities in Clinton, Gratiot and Shiawassee counties.  We are the northern most region within AYSO Area D which is made up of 13 regions within central, southcentral and southwest Michigan.  Area D is part of Section 8 which includes all of Michigan and Indiana.

Open Board Positions
We will have two vacant board positions after this season.  If you're interested in becoming the Regional Referee Coordinator or the Board Secretary, please contact one of the current board members as listed under the AYSO Board, Board of Directors tab.
This is a wonderful opportunity to become more involved in your community!

AYSO PHILOSOPHY
VISION STATEMENT: To provide world class yourh soccer programs that enrich children's lives.

MISSION STATEMENT:  To develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs which promote a fun, family environment based on the AYSO philosophies:

Everyone Plays - Every player on every team must play at least half of every game.
Balanced Teams - Each year new teams are as evenly balanced as possible which makes it more fun to play.
Open Registration - All children between the ages of 4 1/2 and 14 are welcome to register.  Interest and enthusiasm are the only criteria to play.
Positive Coaching Encouragement of player effort provides for greater enjoyment by the players and ultimately leads to better-skilled and better-motivated players.
Good Sportsmanship - We strive to create a positive environment base on mutual respect rather than a win at all costs attitude.  Our program is designed to instill good sportsmanship in every facet of AYSO.
Player Development - We believe that all players should be able to develop their soccer skills and knowledge to the best of their abilities, both individually and as members of a team, in order to maximize their enjoyment of the game.
